Every Vacay LLC (“Every Vacay,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Every Vacay platform, including the PhotoTrip feature and related services (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Photos and images: Travel inspiration photos you upload to generate itineraries via the PhotoTrip feature.
  • Travel preferences: Destinations, dates, group size (including number and ages of children), and any preferences you enter.
  • Communications: Messages you send us through support channels or contact forms.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and actions taken within the Service.
  • Device and browser information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and device identifiers.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

When you use booking or activity links within the Service (such as links to Booking.com, Viator, or GetYourGuide), those platforms may share limited transaction or referral data with us as part of their affiliate programs. We receive only the information those platforms are permitted to share under their own policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service, including generating personalized itineraries from your uploaded photos.
  • Process your photos through AI-powered image analysis to identify locations, aesthetics, and travel themes.
  • Personalize your experience and surface relevant destinations, activities, and booking options.
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates to the Service, and (with your consent) marketing messages.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve performance, fix issues, and develop new features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. How We Process Your Photos

When you upload photos through the PhotoTrip feature:

  • Your photos are transmitted to our servers and processed using AI image analysis tools, which may include third-party services such as Google Cloud Vision API.
  • We extract information about locations, visual themes, and aesthetic characteristics to generate itinerary suggestions.
  • We do not sell your photos to third parties.
  • We do not use your photos to train external AI models without your explicit consent.
  • You may delete your uploaded photos at any time through your account settings. Deleted photos are removed from our active systems; copies in backups are purged on our standard backup rotation schedule.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

We engage third-party vendors to help us operate the Service (such as cloud hosting, analytics, email delivery, and AI processing). These vendors access your information only to perform services on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.

5.2 Booking and Activity Partners

When you click through to a partner booking platform (such as Booking.com, Viator, or GetYourGuide), you will be directed to that platform's website. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies. We may receive a commission if you complete a booking, but we do not share your personal information with these partners beyond what is necessary to generate the referral link.

5.3 Business Transfers

If Every Vacay is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our website prior to such a transfer.

5.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Every Vacay, our users, or others.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service is intended for use by adults planning family travel. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at the address below and we will delete that information promptly.

Users may enter information about their children (such as ages and number of children in a travel party) as part of itinerary planning. This information is used solely to personalize travel recommendations and is not used to create a profile of or market directly to any child.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide you with the Service. You may delete your account at any time, after which we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business necessity (such as tax records).

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in to your account.
  • Remember your preferences.
  • Analyze how the Service is used.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit certain features of the Service. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals, but we will update this policy if our practices change.
